What are Eyelash Extensions?
Eyelash extensions involve the careful application of synthetic lash-looking fibers to natural eyelashes to create a more voluminous, youthful look.
Eyelash extensions not only impact your look but also your daily routine. This procedure instantly achieves a more youthful appearance and eliminates the tedious task of applying false eyelashes. Visual impact and practicality make eyelash extensions one of the most popular cosmetic procedures available today. Lash extensions are completely customizable. This means that whether you prefer a subtle, natural look or you believe in living your most glamorous life every day, lash extensions can help you achieve your dream look.

What to Expect
When you arrive for your eyelash extension application, your stylist will ask you what type of look you would like to achieve. They will then go over all of the available options. From soft and wispy to full and bold, your stylist will assist you in selecting the perfect set for your preferred aesthetic.
Once you have made your selection, the application process will begin. Using a gentle adhesive, the synthetic lash fibers will be meticulously and carefully applied to your individual lashes. The adhesion process can take anywhere from 1 hour and 15 minutes to 2 hours for a full set, and 1 hour and 30 minutes up to 2 hours and 30 minutes for a full “Mega” set. It is not unusual for clients to fall asleep during this time. You may also bring headphones to enjoy your favorite music or podcast during this portion of the procedure.
The adhesive will not cause any damage to your natural lashes, and your lashes will not be glued together. It is possible to experience some irritation, inflammation, or an allergic reaction as a result of the chemical adhesive. Such side effects can be avoided by having a patch test performed prior to eyelash extension application. With the proper care and maintenance, lash extensions may last up to 2 months. Refills are recommended every 2 to 3 weeks because natural lashes shed, along with the attached extensions.
You Lash Extension Results
After your treatment, you can look forward to waking up every day with long, lush, full lashes.
In fact, many clients who receive lash extensions say that they wear less makeup overall as a result of an increase in confidence. There will be no need to apply mascara or false lashes in order to look put together, and your beautiful natural facial features will be complemented by your new youthful-looking lashes.
After Your Lash Extension Treatment
Following the application of eyelash extensions, it is important that your lashes not be exposed to steam or water for the first 48 hours to avoid disturbing the adhesive.
Once you are able to shower, it is also recommended to use a blow dryer on the cool setting with a small eyelash brush to dry and shape your lashes. It is important to avoid pulling out your lash extensions yourself because you could damage your natural eyelashes in the process. Once your extended lashes begin to naturally shed, you should schedule an appointment to refill your extensions or have them removed by a specialist. You may also need to adjust your skincare routine to accommodate your eyelash extensions. Heavy skincare creams, oil-based products, and even mascara can adversely affect the quality and longevity of your results.
Oil-based or heavy skincare products can compromise the integrity of the adhesive and mascara will add unnecessary weight to your lashes. These factors can cause your lashes to fall off sooner than they should, or break. It is important to be as gentle with your lashes as possible. When drying your face, it is important to gently pat around your eyes rather than rub. The texture of a towel on your delicate lash extensions can easily cause breakage. Similarly, it is recommended that a silk pillowcase is used and that there is as little contact between your lashes and your pillow as possible while sleeping. It is important to remember that rubbing your eyes will almost certainly cause lashes to fall out or break.
