What is Aquagold?
Aquagold is a minimally invasive microneedling system that uses tiny 24 karat gold needles to gently inject rejuvenating products into the skin’s dermis and offers the benefits of both traditional microneedling and injectable fillers.
Aquagold is often used in combination with hyaluronic acid, Botox, or Restylane. This process delivers natural-looking results without any of the typical signs of injection. It also requires no downtime, and treatment is so comfortable that numbing cream or anesthesia are not needed. Aquagold offers a range of benefits and can be adapted with the use of various products such as hyaluronic acid or dermal fillers to meet specific beauty goals. Aquagold is an effective treatment for reducing fine lines and wrinkles, diminishing the appearance of pores, reducing redness, plumping the skin, and improving skin texture.
How does Aquagold work?
Aquagold is an advanced microneedling system that allows products to be injected into the skin evenly and gently.
The results are smooth and natural-looking when compared to traditional dermal injections. As these products are injected into the skin with Aquagold, plumpness is instantly increased and moisture, texture, and tone are improved. Aquagold uses dermal fillers in a new way to rejuvenate the skin’s outer layers.
Aquagold also offers the same benefits as traditional microneedling. Microscopic punctures or channels are formed in the skin, prompting a healing response. The body quickly begins to repair the damaged tissue by creating new cells, causing the skin to appear fresh and rejuvenated. This process increases the production of proteins such as collagen and elastin, which will continue for months after treatment. Aquagold treatments improve skin texture, elasticity, moisture retention, and tone.

What to Expect
When you arrive for your Aquagold treatment, the skin will be thoroughly cleansed of all contaminants.
The desired product will be inserted into the Aquagold device, and treatment will begin. The Aquagold tool will be run over the surface of the skin as the tiny 24 karat gold needles deliver into the skin. Unlike traditional injections or microneedling, the process is pain-free and does not involve bleeding. From beginning to end, treatment is under 30 minutes and requires absolutely no downtime!
Recovery After Microneedling
You may experience mild redness or swelling following treatment, but these issues will subside quickly.
Your Microneedling Results
Results are visible between 3 to 7 days following treatment and can last 3 to 4 months. Follow-up treatments should be spaced 1 to 3 months apart to maintain results. Continued treatments can improve the skin’s overall appearance significantly over the period of 1 year.
Aquagold FAQs
What types of products or treatments can be used in combination with Aquagold?
Neurotoxins such as Botox, dermal fillers like Restylane, rejuvenating substances such as hyaluronic acid serums, pigment reducers, and PRP treatment can all be used with Aquagold to deliver customized, amplified results.
How is Aquagold with Botox different from traditional Botox injections?
Aquagold with Botox will not reduce movement in facial muscles as Botox injections do. Instead, Aquagold with Botox rejuvenates the skin and shrinks pores. Traditional Botox injections may be performed at the same time as Aquagold if desired.
How is Aquagold with dermal fillers different from traditional filler injections?
Aquagold will not deliver the same increase in volume that can be achieved with traditional dermal filler injections. Instead, Aquagold uses dermal fillers to improve the skin’s texture, tone, moisture retention, and overall appearance. If volume enhancement is desired, traditional dermal filler injections may be performed at the same time as your Aquagold treatment.
What should be done after Aquagold treatment?
You should wait at least 6 hours after your treatment to apply makeup or wash your face. After that, it is important to use a gentle cleanser and to apply a moisturizer. Your regular skincare routine can be continued one day after treatment. Avoid sun exposure for 24 hours and use SPF 30+ for 2 weeks. Avoid sweating, hot tubs, steam baths, or saunas until the skin is healed. Exfoliants and peels should not be used on the treatment area for at least 1 week.
What are the side effects of Aquagold?
Aquagold has very minimal side effects. Redness may occur within the first 24 hours, and the skin may be sensitive to sunlight for 3 days.
Is Aquagold FDA approved?
Yes. Aquagold is approved by the FDA as a micro-channeling injection device.
